However, the latest episode 18 of season 20 actually had a theme from TikTok. In that episode, contestants had to perform songs popular on TikTok.

Episode 18 had a total of 7 contestants competing with each other to win the title. As such with the tiktok-based theme. The first performance for the episode began with Leah Marlene. However, it seems something went wrong with her performance.
Leah Marlene performed on Electric Love
While the top 7 contestants of American Idol came up with their choice of songs. The first performance came up with Leah Marlene as she chose Electric Love by BORNS. Electric Love is a hit song on TikTok and it actually shows people making videos of the song on TikTok by kissing their friends to watch their reactions.
As Leah completed her performance with Electric Love. The judges told Leah that she chose a tough song for herself. While Judges seemed to be quite fine and average with Leah’s performance. It was her fans who thought it wasn’t that good.
