Amber Rose recently sat with TMZ’s Its Tricky podcast hosted by Raquel Harper over the weekend.
While talking with Harper the 38-year-old celebrity admitted that ‘of course’ she was not surprised when Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West.
She said, ‘I have my own… I don’t want to say ‘feelings’ for him, because that sounds like it’s a positive thing for Kanye. I have my own issues and feelings, how I feel about how our relationship was.’
Rose continued, ‘I always hope for the best for them. I never had any ill feelings, like “I hope they get divorced” or “he’s going to get his day.”‘
The model further shared, ‘I was just happy in my marriage at the time with Wiz [Khalifa], or even after just doing my thing. I never really thought about it much.’
Moreover, the host pointed out to Rose that she and Kardashian also share the same birthday- 21st October.
However, the mom-of-two responded by saying, ‘I think you can be similar as far as birthdays, but we grew up completely different.’
She added, ‘I grew up poor in Philly, I had to hustle and struggle. Her life was very privileged, with money and being out here in LA- which is cool.’
Rose further shared her reaction when the news broke out about the former couple’s divorce.
She revealed, ‘When they finally got divorced, I was like “mmm.” She seems happy now though, with Pete [Davidson].’

Amber Rose went out with Kanye West from 2008 until the summer of 2010. The rapper, on the other hand, went on to tie the knot with Kim Kardashian in 2018 but got divorced in 2021.
Rose has previously mentioned that Kardashian was a factor in her split with West.
Furthermore, the fashion designer mogul said in a 2015 radio interview that he ‘had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim,’ following his history with the Slut Walk creator.
In response, Rose wrote multiple tweets dubbing the SKIMS founder and her family as ‘Kartrashians’.
One of the messages reads, ‘After all these years, I never snitched on you. I’ll leave that up to the Kardashians to humiliate you when they’re done with you.’
