Amber Heard’s legal team brought in Elizabeth Marz to testify in the actress’s favor amid her brutal libel suit with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Elizabeth Marz is one of Heard’s close friends. She is also a member of Heard and Depp’s inner circle.

On 18th May, Elizabeth Marz spoke in support of Amber Heard. Her testimony was shown through a video deposition at Virginia’s Fairfax court.
Marz said that she was once visiting Heard in the couple’s Los Angeles penthouse in 2016. She further added that Depp entered the apartment looking wasted.
Marz described Depp’s immediate reaction when he saw her sitting with Heard. She said that the Pirates of the Caribbean star mumbled, ‘Get your b**** out of here.’

Marz further testified, ‘He ran into the unit, and it scared the sh** out of me because he was wasted and screaming.’
‘If there’s a grown a** man coming at you and saying “Get your b***h outta here,” and swinging a magnum-sized bottle of wine I’m sure anyone…would run out,’ she added.
She claimed that she hid from Depp after he suddenly charged at her and was scared of what the 58-year-old star would do to her.
She said after the whole incident Heard was left disheveled and sustained injuries on her face.
Marz claimed that some of the couple’s friends cleaned up the mess created by Depp. He left the penthouse after having another alleged altercation with Heard.

The incident reportedly took place on 21st May 2016. Marz described Depp as ‘combative’ and ‘upset’ on the day he allegedly attacked Heard.
Like all the friends of Heard and Depp, Marz also stated that she has not firsthand seen the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor abusing the Aquaman star.

Johnny Depp is suing his former wife Amber Heard on the counts of defamation. Depp was axed from big-budget films after Heard penned abuse claims in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.
Depp listed in his $50 million suits that Heard’s alleged claims destroyed his reputation and career.
Furthermore, Heard is countersuing him for $100 million. In her case, she accuses Depp of deliberately creating a ‘smear campaign’ against her. She further called his case ‘abuse and harassment’.
