There are reports that Amber Heard has made a move to Madrid, Spain, after leaving Hollywood. The Daily Mail reported Thursday that Heard has quit Hollywood and moved to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh. She speaks Spanish well, and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise, a friend of Heard told the journalist of the portal. Additionally, the 37-year-old actress may return to Tinseltown one day, according to her friend. It doesn’t seem like she is in a hurry to return to Hollywood or to work, but she will probably return when the timing is right, for the right project,” her friend told the Daily Mail.

The home in Yucca Valley, California, Heard sold in July 2022 went for $1.1 million. Since then, she has spent a great deal of time in Spain. The actress flaunted her bikini body on Palma de Mallorca’s beaches last October. During her Spanish vacation, she was seen playing with her daughter, Oonagh, 2, at a kids’ park. Since welcoming her daughter via surrogate in July 2021, the mother of one has mostly kept her out of the spotlight. A defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp nearly a year ago led to Heard’s alleged move to Spain.

According to reports, Amber Heard has moved to Madrid, Spain, from Hollywood. According to the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff in an article published Thursday, Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly moved to Spain with her daughter Oonagh. Her friend told the journalist that she was bilingual in Spanish and happy in her new home, raising her daughter away from everything. The pal also told the outlet that the 37-year-old actress might return to Hollywood one day. According to the friend who spoke to the Daily Mail, she is not in a rush to return to work or Hollywood but will return when the right project comes along. In July 2022, Heard sold her Yucca Valley, Calif., home for $1.1 million. Spain has been a frequent destination for her since then. The “Aquaman” star was photographed flaunting her bikini body on Mallorca’s beaches last October.
She was seen playing at a kids’ park with her daughter, Oonagh, 2, during her Spanish getaway. Since welcoming her child via surrogate in July 2021, the mom of one has kept her child mostly out of the public eye. Heard’s alleged move to Spain follows her defamation suit against Johnny Depp nearly a year ago. Johnny Depp, 59, sued Amber Heard in 2019 for $50 million for lying about their abuse and obtaining more money out of their divorce. He was countersued for $100 million by his ex-wife a year later. In June 2022, the court ordered Heard to pay $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming Depp in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018. Amber Heard later requested a retrial, claiming the jury’s verdict wasn’t supported by evidence, and asked the judge to toss the verdict.
