She wrote, ‘I have made no admission. This is not an act of concession. There are no restrictions or gags with respect to my voice moving forward.’
Furthermore, she continued to add that she has been trying for six years to emancipate herself from the incident. However, she is brought back to it by the case.
Heard mentioned, ‘It’s important for me to say that I never chose this. This is an opportunity to emancipate myself from something I attempted to leave over six years ago and on terms, I can agree to.’
She added, ‘I make this decision having lost faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony served as entertainment and social media fodder.’
Besides that, multiple outlets reported that the former couple’s lawyers have reached a settlement that the Aquaman actress’ insurance company will pay Depp $1 million.
