The Amazon founder and the billionaire took a 10 minute 10-second ride. It was the first crewed flight of the rocket ship that he owns. Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark Bezos journeyed in a capsule boasting the largest windows ever to be flown in space, along with Wally Funk, an 82-year-old pioneer of the space race, and an 18-year-old eager to go into orbit. However, in a short time, they all returned to the earth from a parachute. 

Designed to serve the growing market for space tourism, New Shepard is already paving the way for many more to follow in its path. The first ride itself has created the record as the oldest man and the youngest man to travel in space were traveling in it simultaneously. From the private launch site near Van Horn, Texas, the spacecraft took off at 14:12 BST (09:12 EDT). Having reached the Karman Line, making space history, the capsule’s astronaut was able to admire Earth against a backdrop of stars.

All four passengers were able to experience the four minutes of weightlessness in which they were allowed to take off their seat belts and were able to enjoy the views of outer space. The minute they crossed the Karman Line, everybody screamed “WOW” at the same time. All of them were enjoying the best moments of their life. The 82-year-old Wally Funk, even said that she wanted to perform somersaults and tumbles in the space. 

Jeff Bezos has resigned from the post of chief executive of Amazon and he has made it clear that he wants to make the rest of his life the best of all. He has said that he wants to concentrate on some of the big projects out of which Blue Origin is one of them.
