Amanda Bynes’ ex-fiancé Paul Michael recently revealed during an interview that he broke up with her a week before her mental breakdown.
Moreover, he said that two weeks before her breakdown, Bynes disappeared for three days. He also claimed that when she returned home she came along with another guy.
Michael added that they argued after the incident where she said to him that she does not care about him anymore.
In addition, he stated that the 37-year-old actress eventually called it quits on their relationship after which he left their home.
Regardless, Michael mentioned that he was taken aback by her behavior after her disappearance.
An insider on the other hand claimed in March 2023 that Michael, ‘does not seem to have her best interests in mind and her family has nothing good to say about him.’
Amanda Bynes was released from the hospital weeks after being placed on a psychiatric hold
According to recent news, Amanda Bynes has left the mental health facility after she was placed on a psychiatric hold last month.
A source confirmed to NBC News on 11th April Tuesday that Bynes was released from the hospital and is expected to begin her outpatient treatment.
Besides that, another source claimed at that time, ‘She hasn’t been in contact with her family for quite some time.’

Additionally, the reports came a few days after that Bynes stayed at the facility on her violation as did not feel ‘ready to leave’ yet.
The report read, ‘Those around her are already formulating a plan to make sure she stays on the right path.’
Meanwhile, the Easy A star issued a statement through her attorney, David Esquibias on 22nd March last year to open up about her personal conservatorship coming to an end.
She wrote, ‘In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.’
The She’s The Man star continued, ‘I am excited about my upcoming endeavors — including my fragrance line — and look forward to sharing more when I can.’
