More about Al Roker’s recent hospital stays
Al Roker first found himself in hospital last month following a problem with blood clots in his leg and lungs.
Moreover, this forced him to skip the hosting duties of the Thanksgiving Day Parade the Macy’s. In addition, this marked the first time Roker has not been a part of the coverage in nearly twenty-seven years.
But he was released from the hospital on Thanksgiving Day and returned home to celebrate the festival with his family for dinner.
Additionally, he was admitted to the hospital for the second time at the end of last month for unknown reasons. Also, this caused him to not attend the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting on 30th November.
Meanwhile, Roker took to his social media account to announce that he is back at his home following the second hospital stint.
He wrote, ‘Home! So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, @todayshow family, and all your thoughts and prayers.’
He continued to express his gratitude for his wife, Deborah Roberts, and the three children they share.
