After being discharged from the hospital – again – Al Roker is feeling grateful. I’m home! The NBC morning show weatherman, 68, posted on Instagram Thursday night that he is thankful to family, friends, medical professionals, the @todayshow family, and all who have thought of him and prayed for him. A picture of Roker’s family, including wife Deborah Roberts and daughter Leila, accompanied the good news. As recently as just hours before his release, Roker posted a picture of the sunrise from his hospital bed with the caption: Hope to be home soon, but when you get a sag, you can see that and recharge your batteries. In closing, he expressed his gratitude to everyone for their prayers and well wishes for him and his family.

After Roker disappeared from the “Today” show in mid-November, fans became concerned. Later, he disclosed that he was hospitalized for blood clots in both his legs and lungs. Despite being unable to attend Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (for the first time in 27 years), the media personality was able to enjoy the holiday at home with his family. In the following days, Roker spent nearly two weeks in the hospital. At the time, Page Six reported that Roberts appeared frantic as she watched her husband go into an ambulance – to the point that she broke a window to get her cell phone out. Deborah Roberts and her daughter Leila, 24, then went by taxi to the hospital, according to one source, observing that Al Roker was surrounded by family during the entire process.
