Though AI is growing popular and reaching out in every area of work gradually. Big names like Elon Musk, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and even Skype co-founder Jaan Tallinn are in favor of putting a pause on the development of AI owing to its risk.
In fact, they have even signed an open letter for the same to stop all AI systems training labs for six months. The letter signed contains lines such as “Recent months have seen AI labs locked in an out-of-control race to develop and deploy ever powerful digital minds that no one-not even their creators- can understand, predict or reliably control”.
It further has “Powerful AI systems should be developed only once we are confident that their effects will be positive and their risks will be manageable”.
