‘AGT’: Opera Singer, Comic Josh Blue are very close to victory after winning 2nd Quarter-Finals

Your Favourite Show America’s Got Talent (AGT) is very close to its Finale. Fans enjoyed the 2nd Quarter-finals of the show. Total 12 contestants performed in Tuesday’s second quarter-finals.

Out of them, seven contestants were selected and five had to go home back with heavy hearts. Terry Crews is the anchor of AGT and commenced the night with three amazing performances back to back.

Singing Trio T3, Songstress Tory Vagasy, and the singing group Korean Soul were the three performers at sixth, seventh and eighth place.

After that Golden Buzzer-winning Northwell, Nurse Choir managed to perform and as usual, lived up to the fans’ expectations. Everyone was impressed with the performance. And, Peter Antoniou also gave a stupendous performance.

But the most mesmerizing moment was the one when Terry invited 9-year old opera Singer Victory Brinker. She then invited 16-year old aerialist Aidan Bryant to the podium. Both of them got immense love and support from fans and judges.

Fans were delighted to see that they would be moving forward in the competition. Comedian Josh Blue also became successful in making it to the semifinals of AGT.

However, many other contestants were sent home and failed to make it to the semifinals. These include Dokteuk Crew, singer Johny Showcase, Shoffolution, and the Positive Impact Movement group.

Whereas, T3 and Korean Soul ended up having a tie. Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum voted for T3, but Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel saved their votes for Korean Soul. Therefore, now their fate rests on the audience votes.

Reaction of Judges

After the performances, the judges shared their opinions. Howie Mandel commented about Blue, “I think he was extraordinary and I think he is always extraordinary and I think he’s just such a really good writer and thinker… He is one of the funniest comics I’ve ever seen”.

Meanwhile, Vergara and Klum appreciated Brinker and showered their love. Klum also praised Victory’s talent, “She is 9 years old and I mean in five years, she is going to be a superstar”.

On the other hand, Bryant’s performance left an ever-lasting effect on Cowell. He said many things in praise of Bryant’s performance as it was amazing.
