After Being Hit by Lorry, Pedestrian Dies In Earl’s Court

On 30th November 2021, a pedestrian died in a car crash with a lorry in West Londo. The accident took place on Earls Court road before 11 in the morning. The paramedics rushed to the accident scene. The police also came along the paramedics. The roads were also blocked for other cars. Everyone did their best to save the pedestrian, unfortunately, he passed away at the scene. This was all stated by the London Ambulance Service spokesperson, who was called to be at the scene at 10:48 a.m.

Dreadful Accident On Earls Court

The accident involved a pedestrian on Earls Court Road. An ambulance was sent immediately to the spot. Two medics and an incident response officer also accompanied the ambulance. The medics arrived at the scene in 4 minutes. They reported that although they did everything to save the person, he had died on spot. The lanes blocked are now open. The road is fully opened and traffic has returned to the busy road. The road remained closed from 11:00 am till 6:00 pm.

The Lorry’s Driver flees

The lorry’s driver flipped the person’s car ( range rover) on a dual carriageway. The car’s roof was completely smashed and damaged. The driver of the lorry lost control while driving on the A406 in East London. The Met is still looking for the driver who fled the scene after the accident. No arrests have been made yet. It is also not clear what speed the driver was on before he crashed.

The force made a statement in which they said that the crash caused a lot of major damage to the vehicle and also left debris on the road. It is believed that the driver was not alone and someone else accompanied him. Both of them fled the scene after the crash. It is still unclear how the accident was caused. Although it is believed that the Storm Arwen, that brought gusts of 100mph played a role in the happening of the accident.
