Adele had a touching moment during her weekend residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. As the Hello singer performed When We Were Young off her 25th studio album while dressed as Morticia Addams for Halloween, a familiar sight in the crowd brought her set to an emotional halt. Adele recognised the obstetrician who successfully delivered her son, Angelo, a decade earlier, about halfway through the haunting ballad. She interrupted the song, overcome with passion, and cried, “Oh my gosh, Colin! This is the doctor who gave birth to my child! I hadn’t seen you in ages!” She moved quickly into the crowd and began hugging her long-lost friend as the music played in the background. Returning to the stage, the Rolling In The Deep singer addresses her fans, clearly moved by the sad event.

Adele burst into tears after spotting the doctor who delivered her child in the audience at her Las Vegas residency. Adele, 35, was in the midst of singing When We Were Young, one of her saddest anthems when she began mouthing ‘shut up’ in between songs. Seconds afterwards, the Hello singer abruptly stopped singing and fell into tears, exclaiming, “Oh my god, Colin, oh my god” as she went into the audience. Audience members recorded Adele hugging the familiar face and telling them, “This is the doctor who gave birth to my baby, I have not seen you in years!” While the band played the song, Adele, dressed in Morticia Adams for Halloween, hurriedly spoke to the doctor and then returned to the song. “Will you sing it for me?” She enquired of the audience. “That man delivered my baby!” Among the spectators was Adele’s obstetrician, who delivered Angelo, her 10-year-old son with former husband Simon Konecki.
