Adele, the GRAMMY Award-winning singer, has shared her heartfelt desire to expand her family. During a performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the 36-year-old superstar revealed that she is hoping to have a daughter with her husband, Rich Paul. This exciting announcement comes as she continues her highly successful Vegas residency.

Adele: Plans for a Baby Girl

Adele, who already has an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, told fans about her hopes for the future. “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” she said, adding, “I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world — that is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer, who secretly married Rich Paul towards the end of last year, joked about the potential personality of their future daughter. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Return to the Stage

Adele made her triumphant return to the stage on Friday after being forced to cancel several dates in March and April due to illness. She shared with the audience that she had to remain silent for almost five weeks to recover her voice. “I had to be on voice rest. When I sayf voice rest, I mean silence for pretty much five weeks. Can you imagine me of all people not being able to talk for five weeks?”

While she found it easy to refrain from singing, the silence proved to be a significant challenge. “The singing, that’s easy. I don’t mind not singing for five weeks, but not being able to talk or not being able to laugh, being on full vocal rest was tough. You end up just sort of hating people and just sort of sitting on your own in your room a lot.”

Health Precautions

Adele also took the opportunity to advise her fans about health precautions, especially in light of her frequent illnesses. “If any of you have germs or you are sick, do not touch me when I walk through. So if you’re sick, even if you get excited, just be like, ‘Hey’. I keep getting sick, it’s terrible, and that is what the issue is — getting carried away with these shows hugging people…tears and snot.”

As Adele continues her residency and looks forward to fulfilling her dream of having a daughter, fans are eagerly anticipating what the future holds for the beloved singer. With her heartfelt performances and candid sharing, Adele continues to capture the hearts of audiences worldwide.
