Multiple Victims Have Filed Abuse Claims Against Creed III Star Jonathan Majors
There are more abuse allegations against Jonathan Majors, Variety reported on Wednesday. A source told the outlet that more than a dozen alleged abuse victims of Majors came forward in March and are in communication with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office in advance of his court appearance on May 8. Page Six asked Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, about the latest accusations. Chaudhry told the publication that Jonathan Majors is innocent and has never abused anyone. It has been proven to the District Attorney that the charges are false by irrefutable evidence. Despite the evidence against him, we are confident that he will be exonerated. On March 25, the “Creed III” star was arrested on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment in the Chelsea neighbourhood of New York City. According to an NYPD spokesperson, an unidentified 30-year-old woman reported being assaulted by Majors and suffering minor injuries to her head and neck. The woman was taken to a hospital in the area in stable condition.
Later, sources told The Post that his girlfriend was the alleged victim. Despite having minor injuries to her head and neck, the woman told police she had been assaulted. According to authorities, she is in stable condition after being transported to a hospital. In her statement at the time, Priya Chaudhry said the actor was allegedly the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows and claimed she was having an “emotional crisis” at the time. A Variety report claiming there were more alleged victims comes just a day after Majors’ manager and publicist dropped him over domestic violence allegations. Three weeks after Majors’ arrest, Entertainment 360 parted ways with him, according to multiple sources. According to the trade publication, the company cut ties with him over his personal behaviour. Majors’ PR firm, The Lede Company, has also reportedly taken a hiatus from the star within the last month, along with his management team.
