Aaron Christopher Kelly, Accused Fred Meyer gunman appears in court following 11-hour manhunt

Aaron Christopher Kelly a 39-year-old gunman was presented at the court on 8th Feb this year. He was accused of killing an Instacart employee and injuring the other employee badly. The incident is reported to have happened at the Fred Meyer store in Washington. A manhunt of 11 hours finally left the store with one dead and the other critically injured.

Gunman Fires At The Fred Meyer Store
It was on 7th Feb this year that a gunman named Aaron Christopher Kelly broke into the Fred Meyer store of Washington and opened fire on all. Well, in the incident the 39 years old gunman killed an Instacart employee Justin Krumbah who was 38 years old. Luckily, the gunman didn’t harm many people except for a few employees of the Washington store.
Also, another Instacart employee named Mark A. Hill who was 66, was badly injured in the firing. Further, the manhunt by Kelly lasted till 11 hours when finally the gunman was caught.
Gunman Kelly Was Brought To The Court On 8th Feb
Well, the 39 years old gunman Kelly has been charged with murder and attempted murder charges. Following that he was presented at the Benton County Superior Courthouse to proceed with the hearing procedure.
Looking at the charges laid on Kelly, he has been held in jail for $1 million bonds. Kelly was reportedly arrested by the police after a long search of 11 hours from a location that was 130 miles away from the Fred Meyer store.
Kelly Has Been Accused Previously For Harassment Charges
Bryant Scott, the former landlord of Kelly is known to have filed a complaint against the gunman in 2020 October. He was accused by Scott of harassing him and poisoning two of his dogs. He also stated that Kelly had refused to leave the house of Scott where he was the tenant.
Kelly reportedly had a quick conversation with Krumbah at the Fred Meyer store which is recorded in the CCTV footage. Moreover, it was after that when he started firing on Krumbah and he died. Certainly, the hearing of Kelly would announce his punishment soon. Nonetheless, it’s still not revealed as to why Kelly began firing on people at the Fred Meyer store.
