A$AP Rocky and Ian Connor’s Epic Showdown at Rolling Loud Miami – Fiery DM Exchanges Revealed!
4 min readFollowing his performance at the 2023 Rolling Loud Miami event over the weekend, A$AP Rocky made a dig at Ian Connor. After analyzing the news online this week, the celebrity stylist responded in his DMs to A$AP Rocky. While singing a verse from A$AP Mob’s 2016 track “Telephone Calls,” A$AP Rocky delivered a lyrical jab at both Ian Connor and A$AP Bari. The rapper, who headlined the third day of the 2023 Rolling Loud Miami festival, changed his initial lyrics on the two artists. Instead of thanking Ian Connor and A$AP Bari as he did at the beginning of the song, A$AP Rocky poked fun at them. Connor contacted A$AP Rocky in his DMs on Monday (July 24) following the news & culture blog Bobbalam News and Media hopped on their Insta with a piece about A$AP Rocky dissing him.

A$AP Rocky answered by claiming that Ian Connor had absolutely nothing to be concerned about, but that he wasn’t judging Connor if he didn’t believe him. Connor, who was caught aback by the revelation, then sought clarification from A$AP Rocky. Connor captioned the screenshot “No pressure.” In another screenshot shared by Connor on his Instagram Story, the New Jersey native requested A$AP Rocky to speak up about the diss because it wasn’t presenting him in the best light.

During A 2023 Rolling Loud Miami Performance, ASAP Rocky Diss Celebrity Stylist Ian Connor, And Ian Fires Back In Rocky’s DMs On Instagram
On Sunday (July 23), A$AP Rocky delivered a lyrical jab at both Ian Connor & A$AP Bari while singing his verse from A$AP Mob’s 2016 track “Telephone Calls.” The rapper, who headlined the third day of the 2023 Rolling Loud Miami festival, changed his initial lyrics on the two artists. Instead of thanking Ian Connor and A$AP Bari as he did in the beginning of the song, A$AP Rocky poked fun at them. “Call young lord ASAP Bari, he’s a bitch,” he rapped throughout the song. As A$AP Rocky claims in the first verse, “Call the young Lord, A$AP Bari, he legit and money clean, young boy, Ian Connor off the s**t.” Connor contacted A$AP Rocky in his DMs on Monday (July 24) after the news and culture blog Bobbalam News and Media went on Instagram with a post regarding A$AP Rocky dissing him. Connor shared a screenshot of their messages on Instagram. The fashion guru queried A$AP Rocky regarding the shots he took at him and A$AP Bari in the first communication. A$AP Rocky answered by claiming that Connor had absolutely nothing to be concerned about, but that he was not judging Connor if he didn’t believe him.
Ian Connor, who was caught aback by the revelation, then sought clarification from A$AP Rocky. Ian Connor captioned the screenshot “No pressure.” “What the f**k is this about?” Following the posting by Bobbalam News and Media, Ian Connor enquired A$AP Rocky about it. “Bout nuttin, u probably aren’t going to, believe me, lol, words to tho, cannot blame u if u don’t,” A$AP Rocky responded. “I like to hear unbelievable shit, cuz what was going on when we set this tone?” Ian Connor responded by typing. In another screenshot shared by Ian Connor on his Instagram Story, the New Jersey native requested A$AP Rocky to speak up about the trash because it wasn’t presenting him in the best light. A$AP Rocky reassured Connor that the bloggers were misinterpreting his verse since he forgot his lines halfway through the performance. The Harlem-based rapper also stated that he and Connor remained friends. Despite being aware of the mix-up, Connor urged A$AP Rocky to inform everyone. He’s been doing his best, according to the stylist, to remain out of the turmoil. Connor typed “word” next to the other screenshot this time.
