50 Cent Mocks JAY-Z Over Premiere Appearance Amid Serious Assault Allegations
3 min read50 Cent, never one to shy away from controversy, has taken aim at JAY-Z in light of recent assault allegations. The G-Unit founder used social media to mock JAY-Z for attending the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King alongside his wife, Beyoncé, and daughter, Blue Ivy, just one day after a lawsuit was filed accusing him of sexual assault.
The Allegations
On December 8, an amended lawsuit was filed accusing JAY-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV VMAs after-party. The allegations, which surfaced in an earlier lawsuit in October, were expanded in this new filing by a Jane Doe accuser.

JAY-Z has categorically denied the claims in a statement released shortly after the complaint became public. Despite the denial, the timing of his appearance at the premiere with his family has fueled public speculation and commentary.
50 Cent’s Troll Posts
The day after the lawsuit amendment was filed, JAY-Z attended the Mufasa: The Lion King premiere to support Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, both of whom are involved in the project. 50 Cent took to Instagram, sharing a photo of the Carter family at the event with a caption that read:
“Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”

On Sunday, 50 Cent also made a dig at JAY-Z’s association with the NFL, referencing the Roc Nation founder’s involvement in the Super Bowl halftime show.
“Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl,” he quipped. “I’m just asking for a friend!”

Tina Knowles Caught in the Crossfire
Adding fuel to the fire, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of a post suggesting JAY-Z’s mother-in-law, Tina Knowles, had liked a post about the allegations. In his caption, 50 wrote:
“Damn it man, mom like the Rape accusations.”
Tina Knowles quickly denied the claim, stating her account had been hacked. She took to Instagram to clarify:
“As you all know I do not play about my family. So if you see something uncharacteristic of me, just know that is not me! Please stop playing with me !!!! No weapon formed against my family shall prosper.”
Public Reactions
The allegations against JAY-Z and Diddy have ignited a firestorm of discussion online, with 50 Cent amplifying the controversy through his posts. While JAY-Z has publicly denied the claims, the situation remains under legal scrutiny.
As for 50 Cent, his comments serve as another chapter in his long history of using social media to stoke drama, often at the expense of his fellow celebrities.
