Ninja Keeps Twitch in Suspense as Contract Renewal Hangs in the Balance Amid Controversy

Twitch is yet another time in controversy after the new branding guidelines of the platform and Ninja’s future with it might be uncertain. In the past few month, Twitch has been in controversy over its Terms of Service. A lot of streamers have been unhappy with the way the platform has been changing. But here’s what streamer Ninja might be doing with the platform in the future.

Twitch’s controversial new branding guidelines
Twitch has been one of the popular streaming platforms and a lot of users have become popular on it too. However, in the past few years, the platform has been making changes in its Terms of Service that haven’t gone well with many of the platform’s streamers.
Recently too Twitch came up with new branding guidelines for the platform and it faced backlash from its users. Resulting in Twitch taking back the new branding guidelines. However, that decision too doesn’t seem to have corrected anything.
Streamer Ninja and his future with Twitch
A lot of streamers have been unhappy with the way Twitch is evolving. Some have even left the platform to start their streaming on Twitch competitor’s platforms like Kick and others. However, streamer Ninja has been continuing on Twitch.
For the record I have a couple of streams scheduled on Twitch, due to a contract I signed previous to the new TOS. Those streams will continue to go live until the contract ends and the State Farm show ends.

Recently, Ninja was asked about his future with Twitch amid its controversial new branding guidelines of it. He though said that he isn’t very convinced with the new guidelines over the branding of content on Twitch. However, about whether he is to stay on Twitch he definitely hinted at what he believes.
He tweeted “For the record i have a couple of streams scheduled on Twitch, due to a contract i signed previous to the new TOS. Those streams will continue to go live until the contract ends and State Farm show ends”. He was even asked if he will continue after the contract ends.
Is Steamer Ninja to continue after his contract ends?
Well, Ninja has made it clear that for now, he will continue to stream on Twitch. However, he even made a tweet saying what he is going to do after his contact with Twitch ends. He tweeted “We will see”. This made everyone to think if Ninja will really renew his contract with Twitch or not.

For now, only time can tell if Ninja will continue or not. Although, Twitch has already made many unhappy with its TOS and it would be interesting to see who continues to stay with the platform and who would switch to the other platform for a better TOS.
