Renowned Twitch streamer and YouTube personality Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL” recently voiced his frustration with the United States’ immigration policies, revealing that his Moist Apex Legends team had to be disbanded due to visa issues. In a YouTube video titled “You’ve Never Seen Me This Mad,” MoistCr1TiKaL expressed his anger towards US immigration officers who denied visas to his team members from Australia, preventing them from participating in the ALGS 2024: Split 1 Playoffs.

MoistCr1TiKaL didn’t hold back his criticism, describing US immigration officers as “glue-eating, crack-smoking, coke-snorting, lobotomite morons” who denied his team’s visa application without a valid reason. He lamented the situation, expressing disbelief that even “Jesus Christ” wouldn’t be able to obtain a visa to enter the United States.

The Moist Apex Legends team, representing Moist Esports, had high hopes of competing in the Apex Legends Global Series, a prestigious esports event. However, with two Australian players—Emtee and Wxltzy—and one American player—Gild—on the roster, the team faced insurmountable obstacles due to visa denials.

In response to the visa issues, MoistCr1TiKaL made the difficult decision to disband the Moist Esports team to allow its members to compete independently in the tournament. He explained that the only way the players could enter the country was if they were not represented by his organization, leading to the dissolution of the team.

MoistCr1TiKaL speculated on possible reasons for the visa rejections, suggesting that the name “Moist Esports” might have played a role. Despite the setback, he emphasized his support for the players and their participation in the tournament, even if it meant parting ways with his team.

One of the Australian players, Emtee, expressed his disappointment with the situation on X, affirming that Moist Esports remains one of the best organizations in the world. He announced the team’s intention to compete independently in the ALGS, highlighting the determination to overcome the challenges posed by visa issues.
