For 9 weeks straight, it had viewers glued to their screens. All pop culture’s fans would talk about was WandaVision. Before Covid-19, Wanda Vision wasn’t meant to be the first show. Marvel Studio had decided to release The Falcon and the Winter soldier, first.

What is WandaVision

WandaVision is a Marvel miniseries released in 2021, starring Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen. This tv series was a spinoff from the mighty MCU. It was aired on Disney+. The series was about 2 MCU superheroes, Scarlett Witch and The Vision. The series is full of action and adventure. The viewers need not to worry about the heart of the show, their beloved, Wanda and Vision. The season finale came out on March 5.

WandaVision Episode 9 – About the finale

In Episode 9, we saw Wanda being warned by Agatha Harkness. She warned that she’d reveal something utterly terrible. At the end of this series, WandaVision, Wanda defeats Agatha. Harkness was another witch from the series. By the end of their face-off, Agatha told Wanda that she had no idea about what has been done and unleashed.

The finale started with where things picked where the previous episode left off, Wanda was facing down Agatha. From all that could be inferred by the series, Harkness’s main aim was to suck away Wanda’s power. She claimed that she knew what was to be done with it.

Wanda temporarily takes her down with the help of a telekinetically powered flying car. She then took the advantage of this short break and asked her kids to head inside.

As things were falling in place, the White Vision enters the scene. His new S.W.O.R.D master has given one new directive which was to take Wanda out. By the time the colored version of Vision also arrives. Agatha mocks at Wanda while commenting that it’d fun to have one’s ex-husband and new boyfriend at the same party.

What did Wanda unleash by the end of WandaVision?

In the final episode of WandaVision, Wanda initially did not pay much attention to Agatha’s words. Agatha claimed that Wanda was Scarlett Witch and all her power was the gift of chaos magic. At the end of episode 9, Wanda ended up embarrassing her powers. According to Agatha, she had the power exceeding that of the Sorcerer Supreme.

There is even a possibility that because of chaos magic, with Wanda becoming the Scarlet witch, this could have opened the door for Chthon, the dark god. Chthon is the Elder God of Chaos in Marvel Universe. Agatha is even the possessor of the Darkhold, which is written by Chthon. On various occasions, Chthon has even possessed Wanda.

With the development of Wanda’s interest in chaos magic, she has been learning with the help of Chathon’s book. According to the comics, this has provided Chthon with access to Earth. This will be later deduced in upcoming shows of MCU.

With the ongoing fight in episode 9, Wanda is now expected to give up her dream life and join forces to save the world. She discards the option of living with an imaginary family which has been created by magic. Rather she chooses to embarrass the powers and fight.

The show has an emotional side too which will break your heart. The work which has been put in by the actors is truly remarkable.
