Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 4: Recap

Episode 4 of Ted Lasso Season 2 is titled “Carol of the Bells”. Some think this mid-August season is not perfect for Christmas celebrations. But, only Ted Lasso could do so and bring some joy during this time of complete boredom.

During the commencement of the holidays, all the members of the AFC Richmond family were having different plans. Keeley and Roy were having their plans for “Sexy Christmas” plans and others had their plans too.

Ted and his son’s celebration ended too soon and that too entirely on face time. So Ted wanted to cheer up, that’s why he decided to have some party time.

Whereas Rebecca wanted to take her coach on a Secret Santa Adventure. Eventually, all the members enjoyed their Christmas time. Higgins revealed to everyone in this episode that he usually keeps his house open to everyone especially for those who celebrate Christmas away from their families.

For her Sexy Christmas party, Keeley had some plans and wore a really sexy dress. Then, the doorbell rang and she thought it to be Roy but it was the little Phoebe. But right after her, there was Roy at the door.

After some time, Keeley and Roy notice Phoebe be very sad and upset. They asked her about this and got to know that a boy said mean things to her in the school. But they cheered her up.

Roy gifted Phoebe a box containing mouth fresheners. She said that she doesn’t smell so bad but Keeley felt she had a problem with bad breath. So, they took her to a dentist where the doctor gave her advice to prevent a bad smell. Later, they bought the medicines doctor prescribed for Phoebe.

But there was one more wish of Phoebe. She wanted to visit that boy and tell him how she felt. Thus, they went there and knocked on his door with Phoebe holding a board that says “Bernard You hurt my feelings”.

On the other hand, at Higgins’ place, a good number of people had come for the celebration. This was the first time he enjoyed a lot when his family was away from him. They had a fun time and then had their dinner. Later, the celebration came to an end with a snowy dance party in the street.

However, Ted had Face time celebration with his son Henry. But when he was just opening up his gift, he suddenly disappeared. Then Ted talked to his ex-wife. Later, he was surprised to see Rebecca outside his house. He got very happy to see her. And the episode ended with Rebecca and Ted enjoying Christmas out in the streets.
