The Addams Family, you must have heard of it if you are a animated film lover. It’s directed by Greg Tiernan, Conrad Vernon and co-directed by Laura Brousseau and Kevin Pavlovic. Guess what, the sequel Addams Family 2 is coming this year.
Addams Family 2 : Release Date
The animated adaptation of The Addams Family just arrived in theaters last year, however with a box office haul over $203 million on a finances of simply $23 million. The Addams Family 2 has been officially introduced to arrive simply in time for Halloween in 2021. However, one member of the original voice cast won’t be returning, and a new cast member with an excellent array of voices has come on board.
Addams Family 2 : Expected Cast
Charlize Theron (Morticia), Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Nick Kroll (Fester), Bette Midler (Grandma) and Snoop Dogg (It) are all reprising their roles from the original movie, and you can see Fester and Wednesday moving into some cartoon shenanigans involving fire and a group of octopus ink inside the teaser.
However, one cast member from the authentic film won’t be returning. Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) voiced Wednesday’s brother Pugsley in the first film, however he’s not been changed by Javon “Wanna” Walton (Utopia). Either Wolfhard’s puberty finally stuck up along with his voice and now he cannot play the younger Pugsley or his position in Ghostbusters: Afterlife made him a considerably extra high priced cast member.
There’s also a brand new cast member becoming a member of the sequel with Bill Hader taking the position of a new individual named Cyrus. This doesn’t appear to be a character stimulated by The Addams Family comedian strip or television series, so we don’t know anything about him. But having Hader voice the character is all we want to recognise so one can be interested. Here’s hoping the rest of the voice cast doesn’t simply telephone it in like they did within the first film. Nick Kroll is the one placing any actual effort into his overall performance as Uncle Fester, and it shows.
Addams Family 2 : Story Details
The Addams Family 2 was announced with little teaser trailer, but the press launch accompanying it didn’t have any story information. It simply generically says that the Addams family gets twisted up in wacky adventures and find themselves worried in hilarious run-ins with all types of unsuspecting characters. Oh, and they also stay genuine to themselves via bringing their iconic spookiness and kookiness wherever they go. They are creepy and eccentric in the end.
