The Matrix 4 Resurrections is finally coming, and this is the reality of the situation; there’s really no mistaking it. Amid the fourth film of the Matrix franchise, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively, inside a universe of parallel worlds.

The Matrix Resurrection trailer starts with a long-haired Neo explaining his counselor. “I have visions that aren’t simply hallucinations,” and then memories ensue. Neo is eating the blue pills, which enable him to remain in his present world. But this is until Yahya Abdul-Mateen II arrives and offers him the red pill, saying, “Time to fly”. Undoubtedly, Neo’s world is once again flipped completely as he returns to the beginning of the Matrix.

Lana Wachowski, who co-directed the initial three Matrix films with her sister Lilly Wachowski, is directing The Matrix Resurrections. The Matrix Resurrections will be in theatres on December 22. It will be available for streaming for just a month on HBO.

In the Matrix Resurrection teaser, actress Priyanka Chopra makes a fleeting cameo. She is reading Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass, a textual allusion to the movie’s concept of multiple worlds.

Could you find the easter eggs and items that will bring you back through time?

What did we find from the Matrix Resurrections trailer

1. Trinity

In the latest teaser, we have seen what appears to be a lady, most likely Trinity. She is with weapons on her shoulders. The scene is evocative, but not really a replica, of The Matrix’s introductory sequence, in which Trinity overwhelms the following cops and makes a fast getaway.

2. The Blue Pill

The teaser depicts Neo swallowing blue pills. This is indicating that now he’s choosing to stay in the Matrix, unaware of the possibly disturbing or life-changing facts. The trailer implies that Neo is conscious of the repercussions of the blue pills. Because later he dumps them down the sewer. Therefore, he may well have taken them about his own independent decision.

3. The Red Pill

The newest teaser mirrors the pivotal scene in which Morpheus, played by Laurence Fishburne, first delivers Neo the red pill. However, Fishburne is not returning to the series. Therefore Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays the latest edition of Morpheus that administers Neo the predestined truth warper.

4. The Black Cat

While its black cat perched on top of Harris’ workstation may appear incongruous. The black cat was a significant indication in the prequel series. Neo sees the same black cat repeatedly even during the resort ambush scenario in the very first movie, triggering déjà vu. This is among the earliest instances he’s is aware of a Matrix flaw.

5. Machines

A brief glimpse of Neo onto an operating table with the machinery functioning on his body is yet another blink-and-you-miss-it scene. It was initially established that Neo’s skills, which allow him to manage a ceasefire between both two sides. They are basically a gift to him by the robots the humans had been fighting against. Whether he’s performing on once again in Resurrections, he’ll almost certainly develop new abilities, but would that mean the conclusion of the truce among humans and machines?

6. Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland

Neo is launched on his road of enlightenment revelation in the first Matrix when Trinity urges him to “chase the bunny rabbit.” The Resurrections video, which is soundtracked by Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit,” shows Priyanka Chopra Jonas reading Lewis Carroll’s work, which that sentence from Trinity refers to, implying that the series newbie might be one of the persons who assists Neo makes his path outside the matrix.

7. The White Rabbit

In The Matrix, Neo notices that perhaps the white rabbit he’s meant to pursue is a tattoo on the shoulders of Dujour, a programmer to whom Neo passes over a little illicit software. Jessica Henwick, who also has a rabbit tattoo, is featured in the Resurrections teaser as a different character who will most likely serve as yet another guidance on Neo’s grand journey.

8. The Rain

The scene in the trailer when Neo kneels while showers pour down from the roof and an official aims a pistol at his forehead feels strikingly close to the scene near the conclusion of the original film when Morpheus is encircled by operatives after sacrificing himself to allow the members of the squad to leave. It appears that Neo may be in a similar situation.

9. The Ripple Effect

When The Matrix initially came along, the bullet’s speed would be all the rage, but an underappreciated VFX scene is that when Neo and Trinity leave a chopper, which further goes into a tower and produces a ripple as if it were a big bit of water. In the teaser, Neo and Trinity are once more on the run, deflecting a chopper rocket, which subsequently strikes a structure, creating a significant effect that appears like crashing waves on the coast.

10. Bulletproof

When it comes to famous scenes from The Matrix, only Neo evading the gunshot and returning to the Matrix with the power to manipulate it measures up.

11. Agents

Agents are personas that work for the machinery and are tasked with eliminating anybody who can reveal the reality well about Matrix. You can see them in the trailer of The Matrix Resurrection.

12. Kung Fu

Another iconic moment from the very first film is paralleled once more. Neo seems to have the overwhelming advantage and uses his Kung Fu skills to blast Abdul-Mateen off.

13. The Code

Neo’s ability to view the matrix’s structures as coding contributed to his becoming the One. You can see some signs of the codes in this part too.

14. Egg Pod

Although it’s difficult to determine if the glimpse of Neo pouring out of an egg pod seems to be from the prequel series, he shooting out of a fluid cage is the very first thing that’s happening after he swallows the red pill during the first movie. He’s also out of the Matrix.

15. The Mirror image

In the teaser, Neo peeks in a  mirror and observes somebody else, which is most probably due to yet another Matrix error.

16. The light from the Door

Although we don’t see that individual again, we still see Neo and Trinity walk through a lighted doorway, implying that the notion has returned.

17. The city of Machines

Neo the One was effectively handed to him by the machines that men have already been fighting against, and he assists him in bringing the two groups together in a ceasefire.

18. The time of Bullet

The concept of motion capture is among the greatest and most inventive things The Matrix trilogy accomplished. Throughout Neo’s dreaming scene in the Resurrections trailer, there’s really one true fraction of the second example of this.

19. Remedy for situations

Neo and Trinity dive from the rooftop in the trailer’s final scene, with really no hint of where and how they won’t fall to their deaths.
