Ever since Netflix acquired the rights of Cobra Kai from YouTube in June 2020, the series has been garnering viewers from across the world.
The first two seasons of Cobra Kai were released in 2020 on Netflix. Consequently, a third season was launched by the online platform on 1st January 2021. The third season brought the series to the audience globally.
Cobra Kai is a sequel to The Karate Kid’s film series. Netflix’s plan to stream the series drew in tons of viewers to watch the martial arts show. Rapidly, Cobra Kai became one of the biggest hit series on Netflix.
The fourth season of Cobra Kai was filmed in Atlanta along with Los Angeles in 2020 and 2021. The ending of Season 4 set the stage for the fifth season.

Cobra Kai Season 5 To Release in September on Netflix
The first action-packed teaser of Cobra Kai’s fifth season was revealed at the Netflix is a Joke Festival. The announcement was confirmed, alongside the release date of the upcoming season, by the Cobra Kai panel this week.
The producers, as well as the cast members of the series, were present during the unveiling owing to Netflix’s festival.
Cobra Kai’s next installment is ready to hit Netflix’s screens on 9th September 2022.
The shooting for the fifth season commenced on 20th September 2021. The production concluded on 19th December 2021.
Cobra Kai’s creators Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald, took to Twitter to share the news. They outline the post with the caption, ‘Five. Fin’.

Many cast and characters from the previous seasons will return for Cobra Kai Season 5.
The action-comedy series will star Ralph Macchio, Billy Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, and Xolo Maridueña in the leading roles
We will also see Yuji Okumoto returning as Chozen.
Other cast members such as Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, and Vanessa Rubio will also feature in the upcoming season of Cobra Kai.
Gianni Decenzo, Dallas Dupree Young, Peyton List, and Martin Kove will also star in Cobra Kai Season 5.
Griffin Santopietro and Oona O’Brien will return to reprise their roles as Anthony and Devon respectively.
