Super Crooks Netflix Trailer Reveals Release Date: Cast, Plot, & What to Expect?

Netflix is all set to bring another supervillain series and we just cannot wait for it. The exciting part is that it is an adaptation of a Japanese comic book. Mark Millar and artist Leinil Francis Yu Wrote Super Crooks (four-issue limited series). Published by Icon Comics imprint of Marvel comics. The comic received a good response worldwide and is now adapted and produced by the Japanese anime studio Bones. Motunobu Hori will be directing it. Even though Netflix announced in 2019 that it will adapt the Japanese comic book, the show is coming two years after the announcement.
We’re here for the plot!
Super Crooks will revolve around Johnny Lightning, a supervillain who does robberies for a living. However, in one of his robberies, a superhero named The gladiator stops him from being successful. As a result, he is imprisoned for five years. Once he returns, he somehow manages to form a team of supervillains in which his ex-girlfriend who is also a former supervillain joins him. ForeCast(power-changes the weather), TK McCabe ( power- telekinesis), and some others also join him. They plan a grand heist in Spain. It will be their last heist before they retire. We are yet to find out if this heist will be successful or not!
Super Crooks Release date-
After Netflix released the trailer, Super Crooks has received great responses from anime fans and comic lovers. The show will have 13 episodes in total. Moreover, each episode will be 30 minutes long. All the episodes will be available only on Netflix on Thursday 25th November 2021. Whether or not there will be a second season? It will precisely depend on the responses the first season gets!
Super Crooks Cast-
The Japanese cast will include- Kenjiro Tsuda as Johnny lightning, Maaya Sakamoto as Kasey, Pierre Taki as the gladiator, KENN as Forecast, Hiroshi Yanaka as Christopher Matts, Junichi Suwabe as The Ghost, Eiji Takemoto as TK McCABE, Roddy Diesel will be played by Tetsu Inada and Sammy diesel by Subaru Kimura.
While the English cast will include-Jonah Scott as Johnny Lightning, Abby Trott as Kasey, Beau Billingslea as the Gladiator, Bill Rogers as TK McCabe, Zeno Robinson as The ForeCast, Bill Butts as The Ghost, Doug Stone as The heat, Roddy Diesel will be played by Bruno Oliver, Sammy Diesel by Ben Pronsky and The Praetorian by DC Douglas.
