As per sources, Pokémon Master Journeys has changed its theme and opted for the classic series formula. This happened after Ash Ketchum won the Pokémon League in Alola, after facing failure multiple times, in the Pokémon Journeys. According to the storyline Ash Ketchum is fighting for proving himself as the best Pokémon trainer in the world rather than having Ash earn gym badges in one Pokémon region.
His family goal was to win the league championship, but he is busy competing in a tournament for proving himself to the world. The World Coronation Series pits Ash for competing with the trainers of his level in the same class so that his rank will increase slowly. After raising his rank Ash can easily join stronger classes, challenge tougher opponents, and fight in the tournament with the best trainers of the world.
For becoming the best trainer Ash travels in the series with Goh, a young trainer. Goh has his ambitious dreams and he is the companion of Ash as well as co-protagonist in the whole series. Both of them help each other in difficult times frequently. Part 3 will focus on continuing their strong bond shortly.
Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series Part 3 is Coming
Netflix is going to release this series on its video-streaming platform and according to the streaming service, it will be done in the same format as Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Netflix is going to release small batches of episodes throughout the year. As per sources, Pokémon Master Journey will be having 46 episodes, whereas Netflix will release its Part 3 putting an end to the 19 episode gap.
The release date of the series is not yet confirmed by Netflix. Though Netflix has set a goal to release the batch of episodes every quarter. There will be a 4-month gap between the first two parts, therefore we can assume that part 3 will release in mid-late spring.
The storyline of Pokémon Master Journeys Part 3
In part 3 of Pokémon master journeys, you can expect the return of Ash and Goh’s bond as they will be assisting the Cerise Laboratory in its research while continuing their goal to achieve their interest.
In Part 2, after defeating Iris and receiving 99th rank in the World Coronation Series Ash has finally reached the ultra-class. Now, he has come one step closer to his goal to attain rank 8 or higher, after which he can participate in a tournament for challenging the previous World Champion Leon.
On the other side, Goh was focusing on catching every type of Pokémon by acquiring the likes of Galarian Stunfisk, Absol, and Galinks. We can see major progress in his effort to catch the legendary Pokémon Mew, by joining Project Mew. This project has helped him to find this mystical Pokémon for fulfilling his ultimate goal.
Part 3 will continue from where Part 2 ended. You will get the chance to revisit the old friends and environments in a further season.
