Pokemon Journeys Episode 97: Recap
The latest part of the long-running Pokémon animation series is entitled Pokémon Journeys: The Series, and it follows Ash and Pikachu’s travels as they are joined by a personal coach named Goh. As of October 9, 2020, the Pokémon Company began screening the latest series at a different time on Fridays at 18:55 in Japan.
Goh is desperate to capture a Slowpoke next time through, so Ash and Goh have come to Slowpoke Island. They swiftly locate the island’s Slowpoke, as well as while Ash wants to rest with them, Goh soon dismisses this diversion and gets down to business, effortlessly capturing a Slowpoke.
However, he hardly has reason to celebrate his latest catch before the next island collides with it, shaking the entire island. A new organization of Slowpoke emerges, identified as Galarian Slowpoke by Goh’s Rotom Phone. Perhaps one of them tries a bite of a nearby Slowpoke’s tail, and yet is turned off by its sweetness. The two Slowkings give presents of a Galarica nut plant as well as an udon dish as a token of their new relationship. With their relationship made, Galarian Slowking utilizes Psychic to let its island float while its type starts its voyage, with Ash and Goh bidding them farewell and hoping to give them a second chance someday.
