Pokemon Horizons: Release Date, trailer, where to watch, and everything
3 min readPokemon Horizons is announced and will come after the original series protagonist Ash Ketchum/Satoshi finally becomes the World Champion. The event took place in Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series that was aired last November.

Pokemon Horizons: Release Date
Pokemon Horizons is scheduled to premiere on 14th April in Japan. However, there is no official release date for international fans. But we suspect that it will be released sometime in summer 2023.
As of now, The Pokemon Company has only announced that Pokemon Horizons will arrive in ‘2023 and beyond.’

Pokemon Horizons: Plot and Trailer
Taito Okiura, vice president of marketing for The Pokémon Company International, talked about the latest series in a press release.
He said, ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ is set to be a thrilling journey that explores new wonders and makes fascinating discoveries about the Pokémon world.’
Okiura continued, ‘The latest Pokémon Horizons: The Series trailer sheds further light on the mysterious adventures that await Liko and Roy, and we invite Trainers to join in unraveling these secrets when the series begins premiering outside of Japan later this year.’
The trailer for the upcoming series has been released. Moreover, it confirmed the English names for the Rising Volt Tacklers like Orla, Murdock, Mollie, and Ludlow.
Meanwhile, the show will center around the adventures of Liko (from the Paldea region), Roy (from the Kanto region), and Friede.
Subsequently, the new series will take us, ‘across the Pokémon world while unraveling the mysteries of Liko’s pendant and Roy’s Poké Ball.’
Pokemon Horizons: Cast and characters
It was recently confirmed that Minori Suzuki and Yuka Terasaki will lend their voice to the main protagonists of the series Liko and Roy, respectively.
In addition, Taku Yashiro is giving his voice to their companion, Pokémon Professor Friede. He will tag alongside his Pokémon partner, Captain Pikachu who will be voiced over by Ikue Ootani.
Furthermore, we are certain that Daiki Tomiyasu will serve as the creative director for the series. Additionally, Tetsuo Yajima will work as an action director.

Pokemon Horizons: Where to watch?
As of now, there is no confirmation over where the upcoming Pokemon series will be released for global fans.
Regardless, Pokemon Ultimate Journeys is currently streaming on the online platform Netflix.
Furthermore, we should not expect Netflix or any other streaming platform to drop the latest episodes of the show in English dubbed before June 2023 at the earliest.
