One Piece Episode 989– Recap

The episode begins with the fight between the trio and big mom. The Big Mom jumps from one hill to another to attack the tank, Ussop, and Chopper. She uses a rocket bomb for this. However, Chopper sees big mom coming and asks Ussop to stop the tank.

Ussop is confused but Chopper asks him to have trust in the tank. Hence, the tank is saved from the attack of big mom. Then Chopper gets a great idea and he sends a candy bomb towards big mom. She thinks that it is candy and eats it. But the bomb blasts inside her mouth and she falls.

The trio becomes happy thinking that they have defeated the big mom. But after some time, she wakes up and says them that it’s not easy to kill her. The trio is scared now. Ussop asks Chopper what to do as they don’t have another plan. Chopper replies that they just have one option in this situation i.e. to Run.

They start to run and big mom stalks them. Suddenly, Sasaki appears and she opens the gate. Denjiro hides there with other people. Then, Denjiro comes up with a plan and searches for Sasaki to talk about it.

On the other hand, Sasaki asks Kanjuro to have a beer together. But Denjiro takes Sasaki with him. Later, Kanjuro cuffs Sasaki with prison stones. Sasaki now knows that Kanjuro is a traitor.

Inside the castle, a fight begins between Luffy and Beast Pirates. Luffy starts using his new technique- Wano Haki also called Ryou against Kaido. Suddenly two people fall from the passage and Luffy notices them. The two people are Ulti and Page One. Luffy doesn’t know both of them. Ulti also asks who the hell is that guy. The episode ends with a fight between Luffy on one side and Ulti and Page One on the other.
