Chainsaw Man is an upcoming popular manga series that is a supernatural action horror TV anime. The series is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The anticipated series released its trailer on June 27, 2021, on the special occasion of the ‘MAPPA STAGE 2021‘. It was published by Shueisha in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

The trailer has been released on June 27 and MAPPA, the animation studio set it out. The fans are excited about the upcoming series. The supernatural horror anime series is ready to set the fire on screen in 2021. However, the release date is not confirmed yet.
The first announcement took place back in December 2020. MAPPA has been immensely popular for landing several other projects like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack of Titan, Dorohedoro will helm Chainsaw Man. The exact premiere date is still awaited by the fans.
Chainsaw Man Anime: Synopsis
Denji is a young guy trapped in poverty. He has a simple dream of leading a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he likes. His father owed a lot of debt to the Yakuza, an organized crime syndicate. Before he could pay off the debt, he passed away. Denji to pay off his crushing debts is forced by Yakuza into killing devils. Using his pet devil Pochita as a weapon, he is ready to do anything for a bit of cash. The devil in Denji’s world exists in both mortal and hellish worlds. Denji is aided by Pochita, who manifests people’s fear about Chainsaws and looks like a canine. So when betrayed by Yazuka, he outlived his usefulness and is murdered by a devil in contract with Yazuka. Pochita then serves as his heart to revive him, making Denji – a devil human hybrid who comes to be known as the Chainsaw Man.
Characters
A few of the main characters are :
Denji:- He is the main character of an anime. A young boy inherits his father’s debt from the Yazuka upon his father’s death. The Yazuka betrays and kills him and Pochita becomes his heart, setting a contract with Denji, who is to live his dreams of a normal life. After this, he transformed into a devil human hybrid known as Chainsaw Man.
Makima:- A mysterious woman, who takes Denji as her human pet. Makima is cunning, intelligent, and manipulative.
Aki Hayakawa:- A public safety devil hunter working under Makima’s squad. Aki is stoic, mature, and dependable with a soft center when alone. He grows to greatly care about Denji and Power despite clashing with them.
Power:- The Blood Friend and a Public Safety devil hunter in Makima’s squad. She loves violence and is childish, greedy, self-motivated, and willing to harm others for her satisfaction. She comes to care deeply for her first true friends, Denji and Aki.
Pochita:- The chainsaw devil who merged with Denji and was originally the Chainsaw Man before meeting Denji.
The series release is quite imminent by the fall of 2021. The fans are excited and awaited about the upcoming series.
