Episode 216 began with Boruto telling Naruto that if he used Karma then he could travel to another dimension with Isshiki. But the time was running out for Isshiki, as told by Susuke.
On the other hand, Otsutsuki was on a mission to find a new vessel in two days. They will give their best to prevent him to leave the dimension.
Furthermore, Isshiki tried to harm Boruto and went after him to attack him but could not succeed. The reason being the protection that Naruto and Susuke provided to him. This followed a battle between Isshiki on one side and Susuke and Naruto on the other. In this battle, Isshiki harmed Naruto and Susuke a lot. They got highly injured.
Isshiki pierced Susuke with metal rods and confined Naruto in a cube. Whereas, Isshiki was not hurting Boruto. Boruto also noticed this and he got to know that Isshiki wanted to use him further in his plan. Therefore, Isshiki was not hurting him. The episode ended here.
