Everyone is excited to watch Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 worldwide. To their pleasure, the makers have confirmed another part of the series on Twitter.
Being excited, on one hand, the fans are not that surprised as this was obvious that another season will be there. The reason is that the series has not yet adapted to manga and plenty of source material is available for the series. Thus, the fans were sure that another part will be there.
Now, as the makers confirmed the news. Fans have another question- When will Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will release?
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Release date
The makers confirmed the release of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 on August 22. According to them, the final part will be released in January 2022.
The makers revealed through the official page of Attack on Titan that after completing episode 75, the series will release the next part in the coming “winters”. Whereas, recently they confirmed that the release date would lie somewhere in January 2022.
Considering the old pattern of Japanese series, we can guess that the series will release the next part on online streaming platforms on either 9 January i.e. Sunday, or 16 January i.e. Sunday again.
They also revealed that an OAD episode will premiere in Japan from different perspectives of characters. It will release before the release of Season 4 Part2.
Attack on Titan Season 5: Rumors
Earlier, there were rumors and thought that the series will return through a Season 5 that would be a final season. However, According to the announcement, the series will return on screen through another part of Season 4. This all is a part of AOT’s promotional strategy. They called Attack on Titan Season 4 a “final season”.
However, it would be interesting to see whether the series could adapt to the manga culture in its final season or not.
The final season
While many people have this question that The final season of Attack on Titan would would adapt manga or not. On the other hand, if it fails to do as then the makers would be left with only one option. That would be to make a whole movie on it.
But, most of the fans would not like the idea of their favorite anime series not ending like a series. But there are several reasons that can lead the makers in making a whole movie on its ending.
The ending of the manga series released in June did not get good feedback from the audience. It was supplemented with extra pages but the concluding chapters were left. Therefore, the MAPPA Studio will have enough material.
As MAPPA has plenty of material left with it, so the studio can benefit from this. This gives the studio enough time to either stick to the original content or gives it some twists according to its wish. Moreover, the success of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train also gives inspiration. It became the highest-grossing movie of 2020 breaking all the records. So, if MAPPA makes a movie, it can expect the same returns.
