Ash Ketchum finally wins the title of the world’s greatest Pokemon trainer in the latest episode of’Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series.

Ash Ketchum claims the title of Pokemon Master
The official Twitter page of Pokemon recently announced that the series lead, Ash Ketchum has won the Pokemon World Championship after 25 years of his adventures journey.
They confirmed, ‘He’s done it! Ash has become a World Champion!’
If you didn’t know, Ash and his Pokemon partner Pikachu’s victory is included in Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series. In the latest episode, the duo won the eighth tournament of the Pokemon World Coronation Series.
According to BBC, Ash fought against reigning world champion, Leon for the title. Moreover, their match lasted for four episodes which ultimately concluded with Ash’s win.

In addition, former friends of Ash made appearances in the episode including Brock, Misty, and Dawn.
Meanwhile, Sarah Natochenny, the voice actor for Ash in the American version also congratulated the eternal 10-year-old Pokemon lead.
She tweeted, ‘I can’t wait to share the English dub of this episode of Pokemon with the world. What an absolute honor to be voicing Ash Ketchum as he becomes a world champion. He really is the very best, like no one ever was.’
Besides that, Taito Okiura, The Pokémon Company International vice-president of marketing said, ‘Ash Ketchum’s determination and perseverance to achieve his goal of becoming the world’s top Pokémon Trainer throughout 25 seasons represents the very best of what it means to be a Trainer.’
Additionally, Ash and Pikachu faced a number of difficulties after they began their adventurous journey in 1997’s Pokemon: Indigo League series. The two also had to battle with gym leaders while trying to stop Team Rocket from creating more trouble.
Fans react to Ash Ketchum’s victory
Many excited fans of Pokemon took to their social media accounts to share their reaction to Ash becoming the world champion.
A user shared a picture of big buildings in Japan where Ash’s win was screened.
They wrote, ‘I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY LITERALLY SHOWED ASH’S WIN ON THE BIG SCREENS IN JAPAN RIGHT IN THE CITY.’
Moreover, another fan chimed in saying, ‘I didn’t realize it was actually the culmination of all the seasons and stuff. Showing all Pikachu teammates, Ash catching him before he hits the ground, etc. Definitely cried like a baby.’
