The content creator’s ordeal began on July 3, 2024, when he was struck in the face by an axe during a wood-chopping livestream. This accident resulted in significant damage to his retina and optical nerve, a fact he first revealed to his followers on July 7. Today, July 12, he shared a new video titled “It Got Worse… I’m seeing things,” where he detailed alarming changes in his vision.

The 26-year-old FaZe Clan member revealed that doctors have diagnosed him with an impending Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD). This condition involves the detachment of a gel-like substance in the eye from the retina. YourRAGE recounted his reaction to the diagnosis: “When I heard him talking, I’m like, ‘Yeah, GG. That is not normal.’ Whatever. I get to the doc, he’s looking in my eye, and by the end of the exam, he tells me I have this thing called impending PVD.”
Doctors explained that the gel-like substance attached to his retina is detaching and will inevitably fully detach. While PVD itself is not uncommon, the trauma-induced nature of his detachment poses a significant risk. YourRAGE elaborated on the gravity of his situation, noting, “There’s nothing too bad about it detaching. But the problem with me is – mine was induced with trauma, and there’s a chance it could detach and tear my retina as it’s detaching.”
