Reality TV star and social media influencer Winter Blanco recently shared an emotional video on TikTok, revealing the severe pain and ongoing struggles she faces due to a botched veneers procedure intended to treat her TMJ disorder. Blanco, known for her appearance on the 16th season of “Bad Girls Club,” broke down in tears while detailing the impact of the poor dental work on her life.

TMJ, or Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, is a condition that affects the joints connecting the jawbone to the skull, causing significant pain and discomfort. Winter Blanco sought veneers to alleviate her TMJ symptoms, but the procedure, performed at Smile Dental Center 32 in Miami, resulted in complications that have left her in constant pain.

In her heartfelt video posted on May 29, Winter Blanco explained, “Two years ago, I had dental work done, I smelled Dental Center 32 in Miami and it ruined my life. I just left another doctor, another TMJ doctor, this is the third or fourth one that I’ve gone to and I’m just very overwhelmed.” She emphasized the financial burden, stating, “I’ve already spent $80,000 pretty much on this whole situation in two years.”

Winter Blanco described the frustration and despair of dealing with the medical and dental industry’s lack of empathy and focus on profit. She shared, “The medical industry, the dental industry in America… they literally do not care about what you are going through, everything is about money for them. The fact that I can’t do anything. I can’t use insurance, I can’t do anything.”

According to Blanco, the veneers have exacerbated her TMJ, leading to severe and persistent pain. She mentioned that doctors have told her it could take an additional $80,000 to correct the damage, with no guarantee of success. “The stuff that I have been dealing with for two years because of my freaking teeth is like, I don’t even know what to do anymore,” she said, visibly distressed.

Winter Blanco also highlighted the dismissive attitude of some healthcare professionals. She recounted being called “crazy” by her primary care doctor at Kaiser, who suggested she see a therapist. “I’ve been called crazy by my primary care doctor at Kaiser. They told me to see a therapist because of what I’m going through. At this point I just don’t know what to do, I’m in severe pain,” she lamented.

The former reality TV star used her platform to warn others about the risks of veneers, especially when dealing with TMJ. “Don’t get f*cking veneers and know that something like this can ruin your life,” she cautioned.

Blanco’s story sheds light on the potential dangers of cosmetic dental procedures and the importance of thoroughly researching and choosing qualified professionals. Her candid sharing of her ordeal serves as a powerful reminder of the physical and emotional toll that subpar medical treatments can take on individuals.
