Samantha Ponder was born in the USA in 1985. She is a sportscaster, on ESPN, she hosts Sunday NFL Countdown. For ESPN college football as well as a basketball sideline reporter, she used to work as a host or reporter. That was all before hosting Sunday NFL Countdown. On College Gameday, for Thursday Night College Football of ESPN, she was a regular sideline reporter with Rece Davis,  David Pollack,  and Jesse Palmer for two years,  from 2012 to 2014. Ponder also worked on Texas-oriented regional network Longhorn Network by ESPN.

In Phoenix, Sam Ponder went  to Central High School. After high school in New York, she went to The King’s College. For a hostess job, she applied at ESPN Zone in New York.

Samantha began her career at ESPN Zone as an intern there. On the college football studio show, she used to work there as a researcher-assistant job with ABC- TV. Later, for the Liberty Flames sports television network, as a sideline reporter, she got a job as sideline reporter. In 2009, she started working with Fox College Sports and left the Liberty. Fir Pac_10 and Big 12 college basketball and football games, she worked there as a sideline reporter.

She worked at Fox for 2 years then, in 2011, she became a part of ESPN’s Longhorn Network. When she took her job, later, she shifted to Austin, Texas for her job. Now, she is a reporter and a host. She hosts for ESPN college football and basketball games.
