Heart-breaking news is going viral on the Internet that talks about the death of popular bass player Jason Weaver. Reports say that the reason behind his death was Covid-19 complications.
The deadliest virus which has become the reason for the pandemic in the world, since December 2019, took one more life. At the time of his death, Jason Weaver was 42 years old.
The news of his death was confirmed by his younger brother Mike Weaver.
Mike Weaver Shared The News On Social Media
Mike Weaver shared a video on his Instagram account by saying, “my brother went to be with Jesus.”
He shared the news of Jason Weaver’s death with the world via Instagram. He said, “I am sorry to bring this news, but I am excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple of hours ago”.
He added, “You have seen him walk the uphill battle and you guys helped carry him through so much. Even though covid took his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him.”
We can clearly see Mike Weaver is broken after losing his brother. The whole family is in grief after facing such a great loss. Jason Weaver’s family was residing in Florida and everyone has gathered at his place for completing his last rites.
Mike Weaver continued saying in his video, “but we all just really wanted to thank you for walking with us through so much, you know, for so long. The Lord used him in such a mighty way out on the road for many years. And anybody who has come into contact with him knows just how real his faith in Jesus was.”
Who Was Jason Weaver?
Jason Weaver was a member of the Big Daddy Weave Band. This band is an American Contemporary Christian band that was created in Mobile, Alabama. The team members who formed this music band took the initiative in 1998 when they all were in college.
Jason Weaver had been playing the bass for 24 years, in the Big Daddy Weave band. He also used to perform vocals for their band. His brother, Mike Weaver, is also a member of the Big Daddy Weave band and he used to play guitar and perform vocals.
The name of Jason Weaver’s team members is Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, and Brian Beihl. Earlier, Jeff Jones was playing drums in their band but he was replaced in 2013.
Jason Weaver’s fellow mates and fans are offering condolences on social media, after Mike uploaded his video, by sending numerous messages.
One person wrote, “heartbreaking news. Great memories with Jay. Praying for all of you!”
Another person wrote, “so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May he rest in internal peace.”
