A Florida youngster was reported missing after telling a friend she was being followed on her way to school. Authorities say Saige Stiles did not show up at school in Port St. Lucie on Monday morning, April 11, despite calling a friend and telling her she was on her way. S

tiles had claimed that someone was stalking her, so the friend dialed 911.

Saige Stiles, a Treasure Coast High School student, was discovered at 5:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Southwest Paar Drive by a Treasure Coast Guardian Angels Chapter member, according to Sgt. John Dellacroce, a police spokesperson.

At 6:55 a.m., police-reported investigators traveled to the Southwest Tulip Boulevard neighborhood, which is located between Belmont Circle and Darwin Boulevard.

Stiles’ mobile phone and rucksack were discovered on the sidewalk by police when they arrived at the location specified by his companion. Cops discovered a video of Stiles wandering behind some residences at 7:30 a.m. while reviewing CCTV footage. According to authorities, “[the kid] did not appear to be in any immediate danger or distress at the moment.”

Stiles’ friend and father, according to cops, are both participating with the investigation. “This is still a fluid situation,” police stated, adding that they are “actively scouring the area and seeking to locate Saige.”

The adolescent was dressed in a grey long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. Saige’s backpack and phone were found on the sidewalk by police.

The adolescent is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds, and with dark hair. Officials are using helicopters and K-9 teams to canvass the area and are speaking with witnesses.

As part of their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Saige’s abduction, officials are attempting to learn more about who she is, her family, and their history.
