She has, however, been the target of troll comments who believe Drake yelled her name during one of his tracks.

Who is Rubi Rose?
Rose was born Rubi Rose Benton to an Eritrean refugee mom and a Black American and Japanese dad in Kentucky. Her father’s family is from the African-American community. Her dad, John Benton, is a lawyer, and her mom, Nardos Ghebrelul, is in dentistry.
She has one younger sister and one elder sister. She resided in Geneva, Switzerland, for over a year. During her freshman year of high school, she relocated to Snellville, Georgia. She attended Georgia Public College and majored in politics.
Rose came to prominence after appearing in the video for the song for Migos’ track “Bad & Boujee.” Around this time, she began appearing on a Twitch stream alongside DJ Akademiks. He is a Jamaican-born Rap / Hip Hop Presenter. She released new and her original music in 2019 and gained momentum with her track “Big Mouth.”
