Drake’s 10th studio album has been in the making since he announced in 2019 that he has begun recording the follow-up to 2018’s Scorpion. The project was extended numerous times over the last year, and an official release date wasn’t set till earlier this week. Drake confirmed the release date for Certified Lover Boy, as well as the album’s divisive illustrations by English designer Damien Hirst. Three lines of the pregnant lady emoticons in various color schemes adorn the design.
And now Certified Lover Boy, Drake’s long-awaited record, is officially out! Music fans throughout the globe have been anxiously anticipating the release of his next effort. The musician displays the lineup of artists who would be a part of his album public by putting their names on billboards around the nation. One among them is Masego.
Journey of Micah Davis To Masego
Micah Davis is the son of a Jamaican father and a black mother. His father served in the United States Air Force, while his mom was a businesswoman. Davis’ mom and dad have both been preachers, and he has been born into a Christian family that was non-denominational. His family stopped in Virginia as a result of his army postings. The drums are also the first instrument he begins to play without official training at an early age.
Davis has mentioned attempting to play the piano, saxophone, and a variety of drumming devices. Davis changed his title to Masego in high school, a Swahili adaptation of his religious name “small gift.” Prior to leaving to concentrate solely on his musical career, Davis studied at Old Dominion Institute in Norfolk, Virginia.
He is a 28-year-old musician who is popular for his handling of the saxophone in his compositions. Masego rose to fame in 2017 as a result of his cooperation alongside French Kiwi Juice. The subsequent year, Davis released his debut album, Lady Lady.
Masego already has partnered with musicians like Medasin to produce Girls that Dance in 2015, and then in 2016, he published an EP named Loose Thoughts, prior to earning attention with his debut album.
