Cari Sherrill, the former wife of Olympic gold medalist, Klete Keller was assaulted. According to sources, Keller assaulted Sherill and pinned her against the wall. He asked her if she had ever heard of marital rape. When asked, Keller dismissed these allegations and said that these are false. Klete Keller was pleaded guilty previously for his participation in the Capitol insurrection. In 2020, both of them were stuck in a child custody trial.
Sherill gave testimony about Keller that he attempted to end his own life after taking out a life insurance policy. That policy also covered suicide cases. This was because he could not attain any job and considered it as a last resort.
Cari got the sole legal custody but the judge also penned that Keller was the epitome of a fun dad. He was a fit and proper individual to have visitation. Then, in 2020 in December, the police officials responded to a report of custody issues. This happened at Sherill’s house. According to sources, Keller became ugly, threatened, and demeaned. He made verbal attacks that occurred throughout this weekend.

Cari Carr Sherrill or Cari Sherrill is a businesswoman in real estate by profession. Cari was the executive director at the Sherrill Residence and she is a graduate in healthcare administration from Eastern Michigan University. Sherrill has also worked at Keller Williams Realty Lake Norman previously.

Cari Sherrill married Keller in 2008 but later in 2015 took divorce. After custody of the kids, Keller was allowed for visits as she moved to North Carolina. After the split, Keller lived with his relatives and barely checked on his kids. He did a few phone calls, emails, and texts. According to sources he is lost and struggled with who he is as a person without swimming. He was so distant from his kids that they started calling him Mr. Klete or Uncle Klete. He did pay child support for almost 10 months.

According to a video available, Klete was present in the crowd that resisted the Capitol cops. Klete’s teammates and coach identified him from the riots and evidence.
Klete Keller was a member of the American relay team back in the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He has no accounts on social media and his deleted one had pro-Trump messages.
