A university student of Vet tech, MiAysha Brannon, passed away in South Carolina MiAysha Brannon. She was a student of the Fort Valley State University in Georgia. MiAysha was dead in her parents’ home in South Carolina. The 23-year-old passed away along with her father in their Boiling Springs home.
What Happened With MiAysha Brannon?
Fort Valley State University student MiAysha Brannon was according to sources, shot by her father. Arthur Brannon III (43), was her father and due to an alleged domestic dispute, he shot her on Sunday, December 19.
As per statements from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, the events took place as follows:
Due to an ongoing domestic dispute between Arthur Brannon and his wife Laquanda at their Boiler spring home in South Carolina, Arthur shot his wife in the right arm and left her outside their home while he locked himself and his Daughter MiAysha Brannon inside.
When the officials reached the site at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, they found Laquanda injured outside the home. She was immediately hospitalized in order to receive medical treatment. Swat and the hostage negotiator were invited to the scene. But they were unable to reach Arthur thus forcing them to invade the place. They entered the house and met with the dead bodies of the father-daughter duo which revealed that Arthur killed his daughter MiAysha and then shot himself.
As per the statement of the deputy from Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office who responded to the distress call said he couldn’t determine who initiated the violence. The neighbors also confirmed the sounds of gunshots early in the morning. However, the cause of the domestic dispute is still unknown.
Who Was MiAysha?
MiAysha Brannon who was also famous as Aysha was born in 1988 and turned 23 this year. She went to Boiling Springs High School before attending college. As per her social media posts, she believed God and was a religious woman who follows Christianity.
Aysha did her Graduation from Spartanburg Methodist College and completed her degree last year. According to Fort Valley State University in Georgia, MiAysha was a student of Veterinary Technician and was going to graduate in 2023.
Fort Valley State University Reacts To MiAysha’s Death
Fort Valley State University issued a statement on MiAysha’s death saying her death is a piece of devastating news as she was a cherished member of the Wildcat family. Their thoughts and wishes are with her friends and family in this sad time. The statement was provided on behalf of the school by President Paul Jones.
After two days of the unfortunate incident, a GoFundMe fundraiser was organized for MiAysha’s mother Laquanda to help her with her medical expenses and funeral expenses. The funeral for MiAysha was held on December 22.
