Following his 40-minute speech, US President Joe Biden appeared to shake hands in the air, raising more doubts. President Biden’s speech at Greensboro’s North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has gone viral since then.

The 46th US President addressed the audience after completing his remarks on the ongoing US supply chain crisis and stated, “God bless America.” All of you are blessed by God.

Biden then moved his hand to the right side of the platform and extended it in a handshake gesture. The 79-year-old also appeared to say something at the time.

During his remarks, President Joe Biden appeared bewildered

According to reports, the current US President visited North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to urge Congress to pass the Bipartisan Innovation Act. The act would provide assistance and help improve the budget in order to encourage the country to produce more semiconductors. Joe Biden also suggested in his address that 70 percent of the country’s inflation may be attributed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the transcontinental country’s ongoing confrontation with Ukraine.

Biden later claimed incorrectly that he was a full-time professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, President Joe Biden was hired as a “Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor” at the university in 2017. This is the first time a Pennsylvania native has held this job. He has also not taught any classes since his arrival, according to the publication. According to reports, Biden only came to school for panel discussions or Q&A sessions.

President Joe Biden’s “invisible handshake” has gotten a lot of attention on the internet

While it’s possible that Biden was addressing someone off to the side of the stage, the incident has been mocked by social media users. Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican, responded to the Biden video on Twitter with a wide-eyed emoji.

I understand that a lot of people despise Trump, but how did this guy gain 81 million votes? remarked one person.

According to another user, if full retirement age is 66, no one should run for office after that age…regardless of party affiliation. I’d go even farther and say that everyone should be out of the office by the age of 66, and that no one should be running over the age of 62.

Another person stated that not every hand gesture is an attempt at a handshake. It’s especially bad when it’s done in front of a crowd.

I’m not a big admirer of Biden, but he’s clearly nodding to someone in the audience, said another.

The event is one of many exploited by Republican members of Congress to demand that Biden take a cognitive test. Several internet users pointed out that the President used a variation of the phrase “Not joking” multiple times during one of his town hall meetings in July of last year.

On February, 38 Republicans wrote to Vice President Joe Biden, urging him to undergo a cognitive test. Footage from one of Biden’s presidential town hall events in July 2021 showed him struggling while speaking about the pandemic. The recent video of Biden shaking hands is sure to reignite the discussion over the current US President’s mental state.
