A few hours after Young Dolph (36) was shot in a bakery in Memphis, it was reported that a shooting incident happened at Rapper Blac Youngsta’s grandmother’s home. Rumours also spread that a similar incident occurred at one of Yo Gotti’s privè restaurants.

After the news of Young Dolph’s death spread, Twitter users were quick to react. While some resorted to spreading fake news.
One Twitter user tweeted that a restaurant that belonged to Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta’s Grandmother’s home were shot up. The news spread quickly with the hashtag pray for Memphis.
A Content Desk Manager at Memphis-based Action News 5, Hannah Wallsmith tweeted that nothing happened at Yo Gotti’s restaurant. While she retweeted a tweet made by another officer and also put a stop to the rumours of a shooting taking place at Blac’s grandmother’s house.

Yo Gotti, Blac Youngsta and Young Dolph have been involved in beef for years. People were quick to assume that Dolph’s murder had something to do with Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta. Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta have released diss tracks against Young Dolph and vice versa.
In 2017, Young Dolph fell victim to a shooting incident. Allegedly his car was shot 100 times but the rapper got out of it safe. During that time too, Yo Gotti was suspected of the attack. However, due to the lack of evidence, he was released from police custody after a while. He fell victim to another shooting incident the same year. Young Dolph was not lucky enough this time.

The officials too have requested people to not believe in any sort of fake news and not cause more chaos. DJ Davis, Memphis’ chief police officer said, “We strongly encourage everyone to stay home if you do not have to be out.”

Various celebrities have tweeted their condolences following the rapper’s death. Gucci Mane tweeted, “R.I.P. to my friend Dolph this broke my heart”.
Megan Thee Stallion wrote, “I am sooo sick rn I am in disbelief! Praying for his family and friends. Rest in peace to my friend a true legend dolph”.
Quavo, Lil Yatchy and Omen also paid tributes to the late rapper.
