Tulsa Pastor Michael Todd seems to have got very literal in his sermon. He had rubbed saliva on the face of a churchgoer amidst a pandemic in order to prove a point. ‘God wasn’t anywhere in that’ slams internet as the incident goes viral.

Michael Todd, who leads the transformation church in Tulsa, Okhlohoma seems to have forgotten about the current ongoing pandemic. A video highlighting the shocking incident took the internet by storm.

In his congregation on Sunday, he wiped his own spit all over the face of a parishioner. He did the same while delivering a sermon about witnessing God’s hazy vision. The stunt was done to demonstrate the message, “receiving a vision from God might get nasty.” Todd justified that everyone who answers God’s call will receive a similar treatment.

Sources revealed that the volunteer on the receiving end was Todd’s younger brother. The stunt left Netizens horrified and disgusted as most of them took to social media to react to the same.

Who is Michael Todd?

Michael Todd and his wife Natalie lead the transformation church since 2015. The founder pastor Gary McIntosh appointed them for the same. The couple attends to 5000 parishioners and 20,000 parishioners every week. They promote their philosophy on ideas of “re-presenting God to the lost” and “transformation in Christ.”

The couple has spoken in various international and domestic events and churches. Their sermon on Relationship Goals went viral in 2016. They gained a lot of recognition and appreciation for the same. Consequently, Michael Todd published a book regarding the sermon. Above all, the book was on New York Times Bestsellers list for 13 weeks. In addition, he released a song which was number 10 on the Billboard R&B list. He launched his second book by the name of Crazy Faith last year.
