Valentina Orellana-Peralta: LAPD Revealed CCTV Video That Shows Calm Scene Before A Girl Hit By A Gunshot

Recently an assault took place at the store. This happened when Valentina Orellana-Peralta, a teenager, went into the trial room for putting on a quinceanera dress. She was trying the dress for a 15-year-old’s birthday party.

CCTV footage has been released by the Los Angeles Police Department that shows a Deadly shooting inside a store. As per sources, Two persons were shot dead, including a 14-year-old bystander and the suspect, by the cops. This incident took place the previous week.

About the incident

The viral footage of the CCTV recorded the whole incident. it shows that the cops fired three bullets at the suspect. One of the bullets missed its target and hit the girl after crossing through the drywall behind the suspect.

A guy named Daniel Elena-Lopez, whose age is 24 years, is the suspect of this incident. He was spotted entering the shop in an outfit of a pair of shorts and a tan shirt. Daniel Elena-Lopez rode his bike up to the top floor of the shop through the escalators.

After that, he threw the lock of his bike towards the North Hollywood store that left many women wounded. According to the people who were present at that time in the store, the suspect was acting strange. He started threatening everyone by throwing all the stuff from the top floor and this is how the chaos started.

The cops caught Daniel Elena-Lopez for creating the chaos. Later they found through the footage that a Lady was lying down on the floor bleeding and was harmed badly. The voice of the officers is recorded in the video when they said, “hey get her out, get her out”. Further, they continued by saying, “he is hitting her now on the right-hand side”. They were shouting and screaming to save that woman as she was bleeding because of Daniel Elena-Lopez’s attack.

The cops might have seen the culprit standing at a distance from that bleeding woman on the floor because of which they fired 3 times. As per the officials, the suspect was caught after getting hit by the officer’s bullet and was declared dead on the crime spot. His death has been confirmed by the Fire Department Paramedics.

Death of Valentina on the Crime Spot

Valentina also died during the firing. The statement posted by Los Angeles Police Department says, “unbeknownst to the officers, a 14-year-old girl was in a changing room behind a wall that was directly behind the suspect an out of the officer’s view, she was in the changing area with her mother when the officers encountered the suspect and the officer-involved shooting occurred.”

They added, “During a search for additional suspects and victims, officers found the girl and discovered that she had been struck by gunfire. She was pronounced dead at the scene.”

After hearing about the teen’s murder, the people burst out of anger and questioned the need of shooting at the suspect without having any idea whether he had any armed force or not. From the crime scene, only the bike lock was retrieved. This situation has been transferred to the California Department of Justice for investigation.

The teen’s family will be going through the legal process with the help of an American attorney, Ben Crump, who is also a trial lawyer. According to the people on Twitter, “the teen’s murder could have been avoided.”
