As Misty noted after seeing the 37-year-old pulled up to the house in the back seat of their van, “I knew she should be getting down to that size, but I didn’t realize she would be sitting in that seat. That is wonderful.” Tammy, who lost her husband Caleb Willingham in July, was depicted weighing 717 pounds during the first half of the show’s fourth season, which she stated was her heaviest weight. At a later point, she weighed 534 pounds, meeting the bariatric surgery criteria. As a result of the surgery, Tammy says she is “excited to have a new chance at life.”
