People started making fun of Tory Lanez as soon as he released the brand-new song “City Boy Summer.” The continuing dispute involving the American rapper Megan Thee Stallion is the cause of this trolling. She said that Tory had shot both of her feet and that she was still able to move around with gunshot fragments in them. Megan claimed that Tory shot her and that she was afraid for her life.

At the Los Angeles Court, the 29-year-old rapper subsequently submitted a not guilty plea on his behalf, stating that he vehemently rejects the charges. The rapper could spend up to 23 years in prison if found guilty. Daystar Peterson, better known by his stage as Tory, is also facing criticism for dissing Houston rapper Z-Ro. Megan previously admitted to injuring her feet by treading on the shattered glass to the Los Angeles Times. However, she then admitted that Tory had shot her on her Instagram live, saying, “It was extremely traumatic for me to have to undergo surgery to have it removed and have the bullets removed. It’s not amusing, but it was the worst experience of my life.”

She also said she wanted to keep the shooting a secret but that she wanted to clear the air because the memes and speculations were out of control. The title of Tory’s latest song is a blatant allusion to Megan’s two-year-old song, “Hot Girl Summer,” which features Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. The song’s flow is comparable to Megan’s song, as stated in the YouTube comments. People started trolling the rapper after he released this song amid the uproar.

Tory Lanez’s new single is being mocked online.

Megan also said that she felt a “deep connection” with Tory in her Rolling Stones interview. She stated: “I never hurt him in any way. There was a dispute; disputes arise frequently. Every day, friends fight.” While some folks enjoyed Tory’s new song, others couldn’t resist making fun of the rapper. “Megan Thee Stallion bout to file a federal lawsuit against him and Jr. now,” one person said. Another person questioned Tory’s originality by pointing out the similarities to the rapper Z-Ro. How did you steal Zro’s entire swag for this song? Where is the originality, bar after the bar?

One user wrote, “This guy takes lil Duvall city boy summer and z oz mo city Don’s rhythm and flow tempo/rythm… sad… no creativity what so ever these days this why the radio gets 0 play in my neighborhood…” Another person ridiculed Tory Lanez on an Instagram photo writing, “He wanna be Megan so bad it’s still a Hot Girl Summer.” One person immediately away pointed out his passion for Megan and remarked, “Still crazy with Meg.”

This was hardly the end of the trolling. On Instagram, one person wrote: “How was this beat cleared for him, tf? I find this demeaning as a Houstonian and a fan of Meg.” Yet another user said, “I hate it. For this pathetic ass mess, he is borrowing Megan’s catchphrase and a famous Houston rhythm.” One more commenter criticized Tory and said, “Mo City doesn’t require any touching. Find a different tune to love, because this one isn’t it, my child.”
