Dominos’ “Survivor Challenge” has become a subject of criticism as the TikToker Denycia slams the contest on social media. She even urged the viewers to boycott Dominos and asked them to pay their employees the bare minimum living wages.

Dominos Gets Slammed For “Survivor Challenge”

TikToker Denycia took to social media to reveal an employee promotion scheme of Dominos. It is offering a $10,000 raffle-style prize for its delivery guys working for 60 consecutive days delivering pizza. Dominos stores at multiple locations are offering this scheme along with a few conditions. Employees must clock in every shift without being late for 60 consecutive days in order to qualify.

She slammed Dominos for their Survivor Challenge. She even said that the promotion was available in at least 19 different Domino’s restaurants across 14 different cities in Indiana and Kentucky. Moreover, employees who make it through to the end will have to divide the cash prize of $10,000 equally amongst themselves. The contest will last for a minimum of 2 months or 60 days and it will conclude in 90 days. Following this, the company will start the next round. She went on to say that the promotion is extremely insulting to the working class. Furthermore, she said that Dominos should pay living wages to its employees rather than taking to these kinds of promotional schemes.

Netizens Gave Mixed Reactions

Following the backlash by Denycia, many Netizens slammed Dominos for the same. Several TikTok users condemned Domino’s promotion and tagged their social media accounts. Many users pointed out that it will continuously snow in the cities where the event is taking place at this time of the year. As a result, speedy deliveries possess a risk for delivery drivers regardless of the weather.

There are people who support TikToker Denycia to stand up against this scheme. One user even called the promotion a “nightmare”. However, some users seem to have a different opinion about the matter. They mentioned that Denycia was being overdramatic as it enables workers to work three-hour shifts every day.

Moreover, in light of the recent events, Dominos deleted many of the online advertisements from Facebook and other platforms. However, it is not known whether this was done due to corporate interference or it is a franchise-specific decision.
